Rosie and Her Puppies

Early in June 2000, BCCA rescue received a call from the Chicago area. There was an adult female in a shelter. Judy Dorman went to the shelter the next day – and the adult had delivered puppies!

Mom and puppies were taken to Cyndie Reinheimer in Wisconsin (Region Coordinator) where they were taken care of until ready to be placed.

Paul Glatzer put the call out to other rescue coordinators nearby to send applicants to Cyndie. The BCCA posted the photos and story on the website. The response was great. As of August 5, 2000, all were placed with new families, including mom “Rosie.”
