Beardies — unlike people — are always perfect. The wide variety of colors and markings in our breed can produce some that are considered “faults” in the show ring, but they do not affect the abilities of our Beardies to be beloved pets and companions, herd sheep, excel in performance sports such as agility, or do anything else that we love to do with our Beardies. “Custom” markings do not affect the health or temperaments of these dogs; their “show faults” simply make them a little more human.
